It is the perfect spot to make special family memories and capture some beautiful summer photos.

At 2pm each day you can join our wildflower picking session for just โ‚ฌ5 extra per person on top of your general admission. Pick a selection of seasonal flowers to take home and enjoy a lovely hands on summer experience.

Please note that wildflower picking is available by ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—น๐˜† and must be booked as a separate ticket per person. All your favourite farm activities will also be waiting for you throughout the day.

Newgrange Farm is delighted to team up with Anthony Murphy of Mythical Ireland again for the Newgrange Farm Archaeological Park and Newgrange Chamber tour.

Anthony โ€“ author, photographer, tour guide and archaeological discoverer โ€“ will lead a tour of the archaeological monuments and their associated mythology on Newgrange Farm. The tour includes a visit to the Newgrange monument chamber with OPW guides.

The tours will take place on July 15th and August 12th.ย The archaeological landscape of Newgrange Farm constitutes a significant part of the Brรบ na Bรณinne Unesco World Heritage Site and features an array of monuments dating as far back as the Neolithic around 5,000 years ago.

Tour participants will see some of these monuments, and hear all about the thrilling discovery of โ€˜Dronehengeโ€™ from its discoverer, on a specially modified and covered trailer.

This Easter we are having two sessions daily for entry to the Farm

Morning Session Arrival from 10.00am โ€“ Depart by 1.30pm

Afternoon Session Arrival from 2.00pm โ€“ Depart 5.30pm

Please click on Book Tickets for the day and time you wish to visit the farm

From 10.30am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 5pm daily we will be running four competitions situated around the Farm โ€“ Mega Buzz Wire, Hook A Duck, Bunny Throw, Lollipop Game and a Colouring Competition. All children will receive something small for taking part in each competition with different prizes for winners.

The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance during the above times and you will be able to take pictures of your family with him on your phone or camera.

Due to popular demand our Eater Bonnet Competition is back this year.

Judging for this competition will take place at 12 Noon and 4.00pm each day

Spring is the best time on any farm as it is the time for regrowth and baby animals! Please remember that this is a natural process and sheep will lamb in their own time โ€“ not on demand, however with a flock of 500 we would hope that you do get to see it all taking place. Please note that not all activities are available during lambing e.g. Go-Karts and Maze as the animals are occupying these areas!
